The inspiration for this design came from C.S. Lewis’
The Screwtape Letters as two devils
discuss how best to corrupt a human.

The devils’ goal is to keep humans focused either on the past or the future because the past is filled with regret and the future is filled with uncertainty.

The devil warns to never allow humans to focus on the present, because the present is were humans and the Devine touch.

Today is a gift, that is why we call it the present.
